Following her grounding in the sea area of Stroggyli Islet, on July 28th, the PANAMIAN FLAG “THEODOROS”, laden with some 503mt of vegetable oil, sustained extensive damages on her hull.
POSEIDON was appointed by her SHIPOWNERS for the patching up and antipollution services.
Underwater temporary repairs were carried out to the full satisfaction of all parties concerned (CLASS RINA,
H & M UNDERWRITERS, P & I CLUB & LOCAL PORT AUTHORITIES)
enabling her to perform completion of voyage and discharge of her cargo in Genoa.
