The fully equipped SALVAGE TUG "VOUKEFALAS" was dispatched which under adverse weather conditions managed to tow her back to the inner anchorage of Aden port (Yemen). Thereafter seawaters were pumped out and extensive diving works were carried out for her water-tightening. In total seven (7) patches were welded. Further de-oiling and cleaning/preserving services in her engine room were rendered.
